Services	12 month Nassau County DSS subsidized child care services to children ages six weeks to 12 years. Eligibility determined through DSS and fee based on income guidelines. 10 month Head Start program offers half day and full day child care services as well as family support services and is based on eligibility criteria such as income and need. Head Start program provides care for 3 and 4 year old children and also serves children in this age range with special needs.
