| Services | La Fuerza Unida is a not-for-profit agency established in 1978 with a mission to educate and empower low income individuals and families to achieve their own destiny and success. Its vision is to become a leader among social agencies in Long Island and to serve people efficiently. effectively and with cultural sensitivity and understanding. To accomplish its mission, Le Fuerza provides the target population with a network of programs that fall within three areas: school-age enhanced after school activities, family development and entitlement programs and adult education, including ESL, computer training and GED in Spanish, and workforce preparation. |
