| Services | The Glen Cove Senior Center is the official agency of the City of Glen Cove, whose purpose it is to plan, develop, and coordinate programs and services and to provide a continuum of care to meet the needs of area residents 60 years of age and older. Our objectives are to provide the highest level of support, intellectual stimulation and socialization. Through the provision of a daily luncheon program, nutrition, education, counseling, referrals, exercise classes, lectures, workshops, trips, entertainment and volunteer service we strive to promote physical and emotional well-being. Outreach includes an effort to identify unregistered senior citizens in the community, targeting newly retired residents and the older elderly population in an effort to familiarize them with our programs and services. The Senior Center serves as an advocate in helping seniors address their health, housing legal and financial needs.
