IAC Monthly Meeting Hosted by AHRC's Lifestyle Program
Also at the January meeting, Marguerite Souzzi, chairwoman joined IAC on behalf of the Summer Concert Series held each summer at J.P. Morgan Park. Victoria Crosby, it was announced by Ms. Souzzi, will direct the concert series for the 2002 season. Plans are already calling for additional children’s programs and a special July 4th celebration. A mailing will be sent out in a month or two asking for donations to support the concerts. The concerts are free to the public. Human service and community organizations are encouraged to join IAC, which meets monthly to work collaboratively with each other to better serve the residents of Glen Cove and the surrounding community. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The next meeting will be held at the School for Language Development in Glen Cove. The IAC with 48 member agencies was established in 1971. The primary mission is to enhance the delivery of human services through collaboration and communication, and to provide mutual support among community agencies through sharing and networking. Member agencies are encouraged to have a representative attend the monthly meetings. Photo (l to r) are: The director and chairman of the Summer Concert Series at J.P.
